Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before booking our cleaning services.

Billing & Payment

Estimates

All prices shown on our website are estimates based on the information provided in your quote request. An estimate is not a binding contract. Final pricing is confirmed after an in-person evaluation of your property and prior to any work beginning. We will never start a cleaning without your explicit approval of the final price.

Heavy Duty Fee

Our estimates assume a reasonable level of cleanliness. If a property requires significantly more time and attention than described — due to excessive clutter, buildup, or conditions not disclosed at booking — an additional fee may apply. We will communicate this to you before proceeding.

Payment

Full payment is due upon completion of the cleaning. We accept payment via card, Zelle, or cash. An invoice will be provided after each service.

Rate Changes

Clary Clean reserves the right to adjust rates at any time based on factors including additional time required, additional items requested, travel distance, or supply costs. You will always be notified of any change before work begins.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your cleaning, notify us within 24 hours and provide a description or photos of the area in question. We will return to re-clean those areas at no additional charge.

This guarantee is voided if the areas in question have been cleaned by another party before we have had the opportunity to address them, or if we are not notified within 24 hours of service completion.

Scheduling

Cancellations

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled cleaning are free of charge. Cancellations within 24 to 48 hours are subject to a 25% fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time are subject to a 50% fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows are charged at the full rate.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled cleaning may be subject to a 25% rescheduling fee. We will always do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Skipping a Recurring Cleaning

If you skip a scheduled recurring cleaning, the next visit may be billed at the next frequency tier. For example, a weekly client who skips one visit will be billed at the bi-weekly rate for the following cleaning, as the property will require more time to return to standard.

Unable to Access Property

If we arrive at a scheduled cleaning and cannot access the property for any reason, a 50% access fee will apply. We will make every effort to reach you before leaving.

Illness & Emergencies

We take your health and ours seriously. If we are unwell, we will notify you immediately and reschedule at the earliest opportunity at no charge. Please also notify us if you or someone in your household is ill before your scheduled cleaning.

Services & Property

Biohazards

For safety and insurance purposes, we are unable to clean hazardous materials including but not limited to excessive mold, black mold, human or animal waste, pests, or bodily fluids. If such conditions are discovered upon arrival, we reserve the right to decline service for that visit.

Move-In / Move-Out

For move-in and move-out cleanings, we request that the property be empty of personal belongings prior to our arrival. Please ensure that electricity and running water are available. If either is unavailable upon arrival, a 50% fee will apply and the cleaning will be rescheduled.

Electricity & Water

Access to electricity and running water is required for all cleaning services. If these are unavailable at the time of service, we will be unable to complete the cleaning and a 50% fee may apply.

Excessive Clutter

Please tidy up personal items, papers, and valuables before our arrival. We are not responsible for items that are misplaced while working in cluttered areas. If a property is significantly more cluttered than described at booking, additional fees may apply.

Walls & High Areas

We do not clean walls, as scrubbing can damage paint or finishes. For safety and insurance purposes, we only clean areas accessible from the floor or a standard 2-step stool. Areas beyond safe reach will not be cleaned.

Window Cleaning — Height

Window cleaning is limited to windows safely accessible from the ground or a standard ladder. Multi-story exterior windows requiring specialized equipment may not be included in standard service and will be discussed during your estimate.

Pets

We are happy to clean homes with pets. For the safety of your animals and our team, please secure all pets before and during our visit. This also prevents pets from escaping while we load and unload equipment.

Damage

We handle your property with care. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged during a cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours. We are insured and will work with you directly to resolve the matter. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or items not disclosed as fragile.

Our Rights

Right to Refuse Service

Clary Clean reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time, including if the property is significantly different from what was described at booking, or if conditions make it unsafe to proceed. Any completed work will be billed proportionally.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
